Novak Djokovic celebrated Father’s day early in Mallorca.

Djokovic is not only the world’s best player, turns out he’s a pretty good coach, too.

Gearing up for his grass-court return at the inaugural Mallorca Championships, the world No. 1 took time to hit with his future doubles partner, six-year-old son Stefan Djokovic.

Looks like Stefan can take the ball on the rise like his famous father and really rip his forehand.

Stefan’s lasso follow through over his head is a reminiscent of Rafa Nadal, whom Novak Djokovic dethroned in an epic four hour, 11-minute semifinal en route to claiming his second Roland Garros crown.

The Australian Open champion will launch his Wimbledon preparation playing in the Mallorca Championships doubles draw. Wild card Djokovic is partnering Spain’s Carlos Gomez-Herrara. The pair will play Tomislav Brkic and Nikola Cacic in the opening round.

The 34-year-old Serbian helped inaugurate the Mallorca Championships center court in a doubles exhibition match that featured Mutua Madrid Open tournament director Feliciano Lopez and Indian Wells tournament director Tommy Haas. Djokovic has rented a house in Mallorca where he will prepare for his Wimbledon title defense.

World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev is the top seed in the Mallorca singles draw. Medvedev, who lost to Djokovic in the Australian Open final, has a first-round bye and will play either Lloyd Harris or Corentin Moutet in his opener.
