Golf Business News – Connor Broadley to sponsor Oli Fisher and Alfie Plant

London-based Independent wealth management company Connor Broadley has announced a multi-year brand ambassador partnership with European Tour players Oli Fisher and Alfie Plant.

Both players will be wearing the company’s logo while competing on their respective tours this season.

Essex-born Fisher, 32, who turned pro in 2006, recently became the youngest player to play 400 tournaments on the European Tour and is famous for being the only player to have shot 59 on that tour, which he achieved at the Portugal Masters in 2018.

Plant, 28, who hails from Bexley in Kent, is embarking on his first full season on the Challenge Tour following an illustrious amateur career which saw him playing in the 2017 Walker Cup, winning the European Amateur Championship and picking up the Silver Medal at The Open Championship in 2017 for the lowest amateur score.

James Connor, Connor Broadley’s CEO, said: “As an ex-professional footballer, I am excited about Connor Broadley’s expansion into the golf sector. Drawing on our experiences in the sports, media and entertainment industries, we feel very well equipped to help golfers who, like Oli and Alfie, share our longer-term principles and value a personal relationship when it comes to the management of their financial affairs as their careers develop.”

Fisher, who won the Czech Open in 2011, said: “I am delighted to represent Connor Broadley and the values that we share. I look forward to working with James and the team at Connor Broadley with my financial management for both myself and my family.”

Plant added: “I am very grateful for the support that Connor Broadley are giving me and look forward to a long-term partnership. Their expertise in financial planning will be extremely valuable as my career progresses.”
