The Skills Network has launched a new partnership with The Dorchester to offer over 650 employees a selection of mental health courses.
Having previously partnered with The Landmark London, Thomson Reuters and the NHS, the group is now collaborating with hotel group to upskill and support hospitality staff by raising awareness of mental health and the triggers that can affect health and wellbeing.
The fully funded courses are available to all staff members at both The Dorchester London and 45 Park Lane, of Dorchester’s collection.
Recognising mental health and wellbeing as an integral part of their key focuses for 2021, partnership will address staff wellbeing, whilst also providing employees with the opportunity to reskill, retrain and be rewarded.
James Earl, executive director of sales at The Skills Network, said: “The pandemic has had a detrimental effect on many people’s lives, particularly those who haven’t had access to their usual support networks or daily routine due to being on furlough or losing their job.
“We’re thrilled to be joining forces with an iconic 5-star hotel like The Dorchester to deliver programmes that will benefit the employees’ wellbeing, provide opportunities for hospitality staff to help the lives of others, develop within the business and upskill for free.”
